Getting Started
After installing SMS Cleaner+, follow these steps to set up message filtering:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Go to Messages
- Tap Unknown & Spam
- Enable SMS Cleaner+ by toggling the switch
Once enabled, SMS Cleaner+ will automatically help filter unwanted messages from unknown senders.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, SMS Cleaner+ does not store or share any of your SMS data. We use Apple's Message Filter Extension technology which processes messages directly on your device. Your messages never leave your phone.
Make sure SMS Cleaner+ is properly enabled in your iOS settings. Go to Settings → Messages → Unknown & Spam and verify that SMS Cleaner+ is toggled on. Keep in mind that no filter is 100% accurate, but we continuously work to improve detection rates.
To disable filtering, go to Settings → Messages → Unknown & Spam and toggle off SMS Cleaner+. You can re-enable it at any time using the same steps.
